Testimonials for "We Can Get Along"

“I love how you incorporate the children's ideas into your program; the kids were all so eager to hear how you'd actually put their words into your songs and were thrilled to hear when it came to pass.  It was magical!

You balanced the tone and pace of your presentation so skillfully, switching mood and activity level frequently, that the children were fully engaged throughout their time with you.  You are obviously a master teacher!”
- Patty Chamberlain, Head of Lower School, Foote School, New Haven, CT

“Delightful, powerful, and very engaging!  Students related immediately.  The lyrics hit home; they saw themselves in all those situations.  From their expressions, I could tell it made them stop and think.  Your program ties in with everything we're trying to do with social development.”
- Kathy Lembo, 2nd Grade, Teacher Worthington Hooker School, New Haven

The performance was geared to everyday issues that our children have in interacting with their peers.  The performance fit well with the ongoing Character Education that is practiced at Rowayton.  I found the performance to be extremely creative and entertaining.  There were four different performances in order to allow for smaller groups, which created a comfortable setting for the children to interact with the performer.  She allowed time for the children to ask questions and was very patient and sensitive to their questions and comments.  I would highly recommend Cyd to anyone who is looking to promote positive interactions with peers.
- Stephanie Edwards, School Social Worker, Rowayton Elementary School
